Happy Friday! This Friday comes much anticipated and much needed for a weekend of relaxation after a busy work week. For me, entering into summer season always proves to be the craziest time with the school year beginning to wrap up, and I don’t think this year is any exception. I can hardly believe we are already at the end of May!
Despite the busy month, I found time to relax on the weekends by soaking up time outside, learning more about flowers, and keeping plants alive, and slowing down with my Saturday morning coffee. In the spirit of relaxation this holiday weekend, I wanted to share a few of the things I’m loving on this month.
I would be remiss if I didn’t acknowledge the fact that I can take the time to slow down and have a long weekend solely due to the sacrifice of the brave men and women who have served our country. If you are on active duty or have served our country, thank you. And thank you to those of you whose families made the ultimate sacrifice.
Happy Memorial Day, friends!

Pour-Over Coffee: I have been eyeing this coffee pour over at Target for a while now, and picked it up when it went on sale last month. I had always heard the hype about how good pour over coffee is and didn’t really get it until now! I love this thing. Since working for home over the past year, I stopped using my Keurig, and made French Press coffee every morning, which was great, except my Saturday morning coffee didn’t feel like a treat as much anymore. Now, I enjoy my French Press during the week, and then take the extra time to make a special cup of coffee on the weekends. It’s a pretty great way to start a Saturday morning, if you ask me!

Lake Pajamas Set: I have been crushing on Lake Pajamas for a few years but never bit the bullet and ordered them. Earlier this spring, Jody surprised me with this Pima Weekend Shorts set and y’all, they are worth the hype. Ever since the weather warmed up, I have been living in these and can hardly resist the urge to order another set!

Watering Can: Joanna Gaines wins again – I picked up this darling watering can from the Hearth and Hand line at Target thinking it would be useful for my patio, but ended up using it as both a functioning water can, as well as an additional decor piece on our front porch. I’d like to think its cuteness motivates me to water my flowers more often, but the jury’s still out on that!

Mary Kay Micellar Water: I’ve mentioned on here before that I primarily use Mary Kay for my skincare and makeup products. When I placed my most recent order, I was intrigued by their newest product, Micellar Water, which is a no-rinse facial cleanser. Used in my nightly face-washing routine, I have loved using it as an added cleansing and refreshing step, especially after a long walk on a hot day.

Cold Water Infusion Bags: If you are like me and need to be better about drinking water, but hate how plain it is, then do yourself a favor and pick up a box of these Cold Water Infusion Bags by Bigelow. You let them infuse in your water for about eight minutes and then can enjoy the light and refreshing flavor! My favorites so far are the Blueberry Citrus Basil and the Blackberry Raspberry Hibiscus.
