I originally wasn’t planning to host my annual ornament swap this year, knowing I would be in the thick of newborn season and managing a toddler, but when I realized this year would be my fifth (!!) year hosting this virtual swap, I just couldn’t resist! Swapping ornaments via snail mail with new and old friends has been such a joy for me to be able to spread a little Christmas joy. I have loved to watch friends from various aspects of my life (and friends of friends!) come together and participate in this little passion project of mine.

In honor of the fifth year of this swap, I’d love to invite you to join me by participating in this happy, holiday mail event. Aside from choosing your ornaments to mail, which can be store-bought or homemade, and waiting in line at the post office to mail them, very little effort is needed to join. The anticipation of the arrival of your ornaments gives a nod to your own childhood holiday nostalgia, and perhaps a taste of the anticipation of a certain baby boy two thousand Decembers ago.

How it works: 

1. By Saturday, December 7th: Complete the Ornament Swap Sign-Up form with your basic contact information for swapping purposes.
2. By Sunday, December 8th: I will email the names and addresses of up to three people who will be your swap partners.
3. By Monday, December 16th: Drop your ornaments in the mail. Of course, the sooner you mail them, the sooner your partners will receive a little holiday magic in their mailbox!
