It has been a while since a shared a round-up of what I’m currently loving with y’all! Turns out, keeping track of which Friday is the last Friday of the month proves to be more of a challenge when all of the days run together in the summer. So instead of just this month’s favorites, today’s list includes what I’ve been loving in the past two months! Summer seems to be flying by, so hopefully this list will encourage you to keep the summer party going strong! 🙂
Grilled Ratatouille: Jody is a huge fan of ratatouille, both the dish and the movie, so when I found this recipe on Pinterest a few weeks back, I knew we had to try it. It is the perfect meal for a hot day and a great way to use up some of your fresh, summer veggies. We served it as a main dishes, along with slices of grilled French bread, but would also work great as a side!
J. Crew White Sneakers: Although I picked up these cute sneakers earlier this year, I have truly appreciated their value in the past two months, particularly when we were on vacation. I was so thankful I packed them – walking the steep streets of Seattle, from neighborhood to neighborhood, or end just around Pike’s Place Market, my feet were relieved to be out of sandals for a bit and in a comfortable classic white sneaker!
Olympic Viewing Outfit: I am very into all things America and the Olympics are no exception. I’m thrilled that we are getting a double-dose of the Olympics this year! I had been crushing on this hat long before the 4th of July and had to wait several weeks for it to come back in stock before I could order it. Shortly after it arrived, I stumbled upon this sweater at Marshalls! I’m pairing it with denim shorts and flip flops for the summer, but could also wear it with jeans or leggings for the Winter Olympics!
Summer Candle Tin Trio: It has been a bit since I added a beloved Trader Joe’s product to my list, so I must have picked up this Summer Candle Tin Trio set at the perfect time. These three candles capture the aroma of summer, with scents including Strawberry Basil, Watermelon Mint, and Pineapple Cilantro. They all smell divine, however, I think the Watermelon Mint is my favorite of the three – it smells so fresh and fruity!
Raised Garden Beds: I wanted to grow a vegetable garden in our backyard last year before it was trendy, but didn’t get around to it. I had originally planned to build our own set until I found these raised garden beds on Amazon. They took me less than twenty minutes to put together, and the best part is I can add to them and rearrange the layout whenever I want! Currently, I have zucchini, yellow squash, butternut squash, peppers, and tomatoes planted!
